Our interest has driven us to create products that interact with our natural biological/chemical processes and enable us to withstand a world with increasing demands and challenges. Most importantly; this attempt to create something unique must leave the smallest possible footprint on our planet and ecosystem.

Since we were quite small, we have always chuckled a bit at all the strange products and tastes that Frederik's parents, of German descent, had in the fridge and in jars in the pantry. There was everything from kombucha, kimchi, and bags with biodynamic labels. This "health" background was essential for the idea of Functional Future to be born.

With a solid chemical and anatomical background as a Master of Pharmaceutical Sciences and almost ten years of experience in both production and quality assurance of medicines, Thomas has the right prerequisites to create products that challenge current manufacturing methods and workflows within the food industry.

Here was suddenly the opportunity to challenge the established and help people in the same situation as Thomas, while also appealing to the growing number of conscious consumers. The positive energy and feedback from all those who use the products have now become the driving force behind Functional Future, and we would not have come this far without it.
